Amir Globerson
Amir Globerson is an AI researcher whose work connects structured prediction, deep learning and conversational systems. As of October 2026, he is a Research Scientist at Google in Tel Aviv and Unit Director of ELLIS Unit Tel Aviv at Tel Aviv University. He earned degrees in computer science, physics and computational neuroscience at the Hebrew University, held postdoctoral posts at Toronto and MIT, and joined the Hebrew University's computer-science school in 2008. His work ranged from a 2007 Matrix-Tree paper to HOLI's deep-learning models and a 2026 benchmark for conversational recommenders; he shared ICML's 2013 best paper award and chaired UAI's program in 2018.
