Privacy policy
This page tells you what information People of Superintelligence collects when you visit the site, and how it uses YouTube API Services. Last updated 17 October 2026.
What we collect
The site has no accounts and no sign-in, and we do not ask for your name or email address. If you write to us, we keep your message to answer it. The search box on the home page puts your search words in the page address, so Google Analytics and our host record them with the visit.
We use Google Analytics to count visits. It sets cookies and records the pages you open, the page that sent you, your device and browser, and your approximate location. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy. How Google uses information from sites that use its services explains more, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on stops it.
Our host, Vercel, keeps server logs of requests, with IP addresses, for security and operation.
YouTube API Services
Profile pages list YouTube videos in which the person speaks or appears. We find these videos with YouTube API Services. We use only public video information: the video ID, title, channel name and ID, upload date, length and the start of the description. We do not access any YouTube account, and we collect no information about you through YouTube API Services.
To decide which search results show the person, we send the title, channel, date, length and start of the description of each video to a language model service (OpenAI or Anthropic), together with the person's public biography. Their own privacy terms apply to that text.
We keep this video information for 30 days at most, in our files and in the pages we publish. Before then we fetch it again from YouTube or delete it, so a video that is removed or made private leaves our pages.
The video pictures load from YouTube's servers when you open a page, so Google receives your IP address and browser details. A video link opens YouTube. Google's use of this data follows the Google Privacy Policy. By watching a video you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. To ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it, write to contact@islandandpine.com. We answer within 7 days.
