Zhi Jin
Also known as 金芝, Jin Zhi
Zhi Jin is a computer scientist at Peking University whose work spans knowledge-based software engineering and code generation with deep learning and large language models. She earned degrees at Zhejiang University and the National University of Defense Technology, became a full professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001, and joined Peking University in 2009. Her papers include Deep Code Comment Generation, which won an ACM Distinguished Paper Award at ICPC 2018, and Code Generation as a Dual Task of Code Summarization at NeurIPS 2019. The China Computer Federation gave her its Xia-Peisu Award in 2021, and in 2023 she was named an IEEE Fellow and coauthored Self-planning Code Generation with Large Language Models. She is a professor of computer science at Peking University and Hongyi Visiting Professor at Wuhan University, and she gave a keynote at FORGE 2026 in Rio de Janeiro on large language models for requirements analysis.
