Chengqing Zong
Chengqing Zong studies natural language processing, including shared work on machine translation, text mining and language models. Zong received his doctorate from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in March 1998. He then held a postdoctoral appointment at its Institute of Automation’s National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition from May 1998 to April 2000. He continued research at that laboratory afterward. With Yang Zhao and Baidu Feijiang, he published a Chinese-language book on natural language processing and large models in 2024. He coauthored a 2026 English-language book with Zhao and Yanjun Ma on language processing and large language models. This continues his technical teaching program.
