Jiaying Liu
Also known as 刘家瑛
Jiaying Liu is a computer-vision researcher at Peking University whose publications include low-light image enhancement and rain removal from video. She earned a computer science bachelor's degree at Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2005 and a Ph.D. in computer application technology at Peking University in 2010, then held faculty roles there and visited MSRA. Her work includes the 2018 Deep Retinex system and a 2019 recurrent video-deraining method; she chaired ACM MM Asia in 2024. IEEE named her a Fellow in 2025, and since July 2025 she has been a professor at Peking University and a co-PI on a national program for video enhancement and colorization.
