Zhi-Hua Zhou
Zhou works on ensemble learning, weak supervision, multilabel learning and learning theory. Weak supervision includes work with noisy labels, partially labeled examples, active learning and multiple-instance learning. Zhou coauthored Evolutionary Learning: Advances in Theories and Algorithms with Yang Yu and Chao Qian in 2019. The book connects learning research with evolutionary computation. Zhou published a second edition of Ensemble Methods: Foundations and Algorithms in 2025. His later research includes open-environment learning, machine learning with logical reasoning and learnware.
