Tianrui Li

Also known as 李天瑞, Li Tianrui

Tianrui Li is a Southwest Jiaotong University professor whose AI work ranges from citywide crowd-flow forecasting to air-quality prediction and video-language retrieval. He earned bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees at the university, completed postdoctoral research in Belgium, and joined its faculty in 2007. His coauthored work includes ST-ResNet for crowd-flow forecasting, a hybrid model for PM2.5 prediction, and CLIP4Clip for video-language retrieval. As of October 2026, he is dean of the School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence and deputy director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Southwest Jiaotong University.
