Maoguo Gong
Also known as M. Gong, M.G. Gong, Mao Gong, 公茂果
Maoguo Gong is a professor at Xidian University whose research spans computational intelligence, collaborative learning, and remote sensing. He earned a bachelor's degree in circuits and systems in 2003, joined Xidian's School of Electronic Engineering in 2006, and became a professor there in 2010. His work ranges from deep-neural change detection for radar imagery in 2016 to methods for federated few-shot learning and internal-wave segmentation in 2025; in 2019, IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation names him an Outstanding Associate Editor. He became an IEEE Fellow in 2024. As of October 2026, he directs Xidian's Key Laboratory of Collaborative Intelligence Systems and is vice president of Inner Mongolia Normal University.
