Guiguang Ding
Also known as DING Guiguang, Ding Guiguang, G Ding, G. Ding
Guiguang Ding is a researcher at Tsinghua University whose work ranges from efficient convolutional networks to real-time object detection. He earned a bachelor's degree in measurement and control engineering at Xidian University in 1999 and a Ph.D. there in 2004, then joined Tsinghua as a postdoctoral researcher. At Tsinghua's School of Software, he became an assistant professor in 2006 and associate professor and vice dean in 2009 before becoming a professor in 2020. His coauthored work includes RepVGG's multi-branch training design, RepLKNet's 31×31 kernels, and YOLOv10's end-to-end object detection. He received the National Science Fund of China for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2019 and a Continuing Grant of Young Scientists Fund-Type A in 2025.
