Bin Yang

Also known as 杨彬

Bin Yang is a computer scientist whose current research focuses on data-driven decision intelligence for time-series and spatio-temporal data. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees at Northwestern Polytechnical University and a doctorate at Fudan, then worked at Max Planck and Aarhus before becoming a professor at Aalborg. With collaborators, he coauthored EcoTour, which used vehicle GPS and CAN bus data to compare routes, and AutoCTS for correlated time-series forecasting. As of October 2026, he is a Chair Professor at East China Normal University.
