Quoc‐Viet Pham

Also known as Phạm Quốc Việt, Viet Quoc Pham, Viet Pham

Quoc‐Viet Pham is an Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin whose research covers federated learning, machine unlearning and AI for 6G wireless networks. He earned a BSc at Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2013 and a PhD at Inje University in 2017, then held posts at Kyung Hee, Changwon National and Pusan National universities in Korea until 2023. In 2019 he was first author of a survey of multi-access edge computing, and in 2021 he coauthored a paper on FLchain, which joins federated learning and blockchain, with Ming Ding and others. After joining Trinity in January 2023, he won the IEEE ComSoc Best Young Researcher Award for EMEA in 2023 and was named a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher in 2024. He leads the COINLab at Trinity, has been Area Editor of IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials since May 2026, and has been Course Director of Computer Engineering since August 2026.
