Jin Song Dong
Also known as Dong Jin Song, Jin-Song Dong
Jin Song Dong is a computer science professor at the National University of Singapore who links formal methods with AI, from the PAT model checker to trusted machine learning and verified code generation for language models. After a PhD at the University of Queensland in 1995 and research years at Australia's CSIRO, he joined NUS in 1998 and became a full professor in 2016. He developed PAT with Sun Jun and Liu Yang, won the 20 Year ICFEM Most Influential System Award for it in 2018, and co-founded the trusted machine learning system Silas. In 2023 and 2024 he served as Deputy Head of the Computer Science Department, and he founded the ISACE sports analytics conference series. In July 2026 he gave a keynote at Internetware 2026, and he is a professor at NUS working on trusted and explainable AI.
