Graham Taylor
Also known as G.W. Taylor, GRAHAM W. TAYLOR, Graham W Taylor, Graham W. Taylor
Graham Taylor is a deep-learning researcher whose work applies multimodal AI to biodiversity. After a computer science PhD at Toronto in 2009 and a postdoctoral role at NYU, he joined Guelph in 2012. He co-founded Kindred, served as Research Director at Vector, and coauthored BIOSCAN-5M and CLIBD, which connect insect images, DNA barcodes and taxonomic labels for machine-learning classification. As of October 2026, he is a Guelph professor who leads its Machine Learning Research Group and co-directs CARE-AI.
