Chih-Chung Chang
Also known as 張治中
Chih-Chung Chang is a researcher in support vector machines and a coauthor of the LIBSVM software library, whose version 3.37 appeared in 2025. He earned a master's degree in Chih-Jen Lin's group at National Taiwan University in June 2001. His papers analyzed SVM decomposition, proposed a method for ν-SVM classification, and covered ν-support vector regression. The NTU group behind LIBSVM won two events in the 2001 IJCNN Challenge. As of October 2026, he works at Google Taiwan.
