Researcher

Beibei Wang

Beibei Wang researches AI and Wi-Fi sensing for human detection. She earned electrical-engineering degrees at the University of Science and Technology of China and the University of Maryland, then worked at Maryland and Qualcomm before joining Origin Wireless in 2015. She coauthored a game-theoretic cognitive-radio book in 2010 and Wireless AI in 2019, then coauthored DeepCPD, a 2025 paper on Wi-Fi-based in-car child-presence detection. IEEE named her a Fellow in 2024 and gave her the Sensors Council Technical Achievement Award in 2025. She is Vice President of Research at Origin Wireless AI; ADT acquired the company in February 2026.
