Muhammad Asif Zahoor Raja
Also known as 羅艾希, Asif Zahoor Raja
Muhammad Asif Zahoor Raja is a professor at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) in Taiwan who applies neural networks and swarm intelligence to fractional and nonlinear differential equations. He earned master's degrees in mathematics in 1996 and nuclear engineering in 1999, worked on research and development for the Engineering and Scientific Commission of Pakistan from 1999 to 2012, and completed a PhD in electronic engineering at International Islamic University, Islamabad, in 2011. His doctoral work produced the fractional least mean square algorithm and a platform that solves fractional differential equations with artificial intelligence techniques. After serving as an assistant professor at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology's Attock campus, he joined the Future Technology Research Center at YunTech by 2022 and went on to coauthor neural-network studies of COVID-19 and dengue, and a 2024 PLOS ONE framework for a malaria model. He is a professor in the Graduate School of Engineering Science and Technology at YunTech, and Google Scholar counts more than 27,000 citations to his work.
