Krzysztof Kozłowski

Also known as Krzysztof Roman Kozłowski

Krzysztof Kozłowski was a Polish automation and robotics researcher at Poznań University of Technology whose research addressed robot modeling and control. He studied mathematics and electrical engineering, earned an electrical-engineering doctorate, and pursued robotics research in Los Angeles and Braunschweig before completing his habilitation in 1992. He coauthored books on robot modeling, task planning, and control, and led a project to develop control methods for assembling an astronomical telescope. At Poznań, he directed the Institute of Automatic Control and Robotics and SkyLab, served on national and conference committees, and received the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 2019. He became a corresponding member of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2020 and died in 2021.
