Ibrahim Aljarah
Ibrahim Aljarah is a computer scientist whose work spans optimization algorithms, evolutionary data clustering, and AI adoption in business. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science at Yarmouk University in 2003, a master's degree in computer science and information systems at the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2006, and a PhD in computer science at North Dakota State University in 2014. His optimization research includes a 2016 paper on training neural networks with the whale optimization algorithm, a 2017 Grey Wolf Optimizer review, and a 2019 paper on Harris hawks optimization. By 2021, he directed the University of Jordan's Open Educational Resources and Blended Learning Center and coauthored a Springer book on evolutionary data clustering, followed by a Python machine-learning guide in July 2026 and a study of AI adoption in Jordanian SMEs in September 2026. As of October 2026, he is Head of Artificial Intelligence, a senior consultant, and a professor of computer science at Kaizen Consulting.
