Researcher

Hayit Greenspan

Hayit Greenspan is a biomedical engineer whose research uses machine learning and deep learning to analyze medical images. She earned electrical engineering degrees at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, completed a PhD at Caltech, and joined Tel Aviv University after a UC Berkeley postdoctoral appointment. Her work includes the LiTS liver-tumor benchmark and a co-edited deep-learning book; the MICCAI Society elected her a Fellow in 2024. At a UC Irvine seminar in August 2026, she presented work on foundation models and generative modeling for early detection and decision support in medical imaging. As of October 2026, she is a professor at Tel Aviv University and a co-founder and chief scientist at RADLogics.
