Eduardo Jose Bayro-Corrochano
Also known as Eduardo Bayro-Corrochano, Eduardo Bayro Corrochano
Eduardo Jose Bayro-Corrochano is a computer scientist whose geometric computing connects artificial intelligence with perception, vision, and robotics. He earned a cognitive computer science PhD at Cardiff in 1993, worked on cognitive systems at Christian Albrechts University of Kiel, wrote a 2001 book on perception-action systems, and created the Mex-One humanoid at CINVESTAV. He became an IAPR Fellow in 2006 and chaired IEEE-RAS Humanoids in 2016. As of October 2026, he is an associate professor at Poznan University of Technology whose work spans geometric methods for AI, computer vision, robotics, and quantum computing.
