Dani Lischinski

Dani Lischinski is a computer graphics researcher whose recent work applies generative AI to image creation and editing. He earned a PhD at Cornell in 1994, joined the Hebrew University's School of Computer Science and Engineering in 1996, received Eurographics' 2012 Outstanding Technical Contributions Award, and chaired SIGGRAPH Asia's technical papers program in 2017. In 2023, he coauthored a method for generating consistent characters from text prompts; in 2025, he coauthored Click2Mask for local image edits and Palette Aligned Image Diffusion for color control in text-to-image models. As of October 2026, he is a full professor at the Rachel and Selim Benin School of Engineering and Computer Science at the Hebrew University.
