Chengxi Zang

Also known as 臧承熙

Chengxi Zang is a computer scientist whose work connects machine learning for health data with molecular graph generation. He earned a computer science degree at Sun Yat-Sen University in 2013 and a Doctor of Engineering at Tsinghua in 2019; his early work included a model for social-network growth. His career moved into health research at Weill Cornell, from a postdoctoral role and an instructor post to an assistant professorship in 2025. He coauthored MoFlow, a flow-based model for molecular graph generation, and led 2023 research on Long COVID using electronic health records. Since May 2025, he is an assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medicine, and by August 2026 he had received an R01 to bridge gaps in pregnancy trials.
