Alistair D.C. Holden
Alistair D.C. Holden was a University of Washington electrical engineering professor who helped organize the first large conference devoted exclusively to artificial intelligence. He served as an IJCAI trustee from 1968 to 1969 and as general chair of IJCAI-69. His research included a 1988 paper on symbolic-neural control and 1991 papers on neural-net control and hints for complex systems. He died in 1999.
