Türker Tekin Ergüzel

Türker Tekin Ergüzel is an AI researcher whose studies apply optimization and neural networks to EEG and mental-health research. At Marmara University, he completed Computer-Control Education studies in 2009 and joined Üsküdar University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences in 2012. His 2014 and 2015 studies used neural networks and EEG data to classify depression and predict response to rTMS. In 2024, he coauthored a review of AI-based exoskeleton rehabilitation; in 2025, he coauthored a review of schizophrenia pathogenesis and received the Golden Axon Leadership Award. As of October 2026, he is Vice Rector of Üsküdar University and signs the Magna Charta Universitatum 2020 declaration on the university's behalf.

    In 2024, he coauthors a meta-analysis of AI-based wearable exoskeletons for amputee rehabilitation, reviewing brain-computer interfaces, machine learning, deep learning, and artificial neural networks.

    In 2025, he coauthors a review of neurochemical, neuroinflammatory, and neurophysiological dynamics in schizophrenia pathogenesis.
