Premal Tailor

Premal Tailor is a technology creator whose TailorMadeTech channel shares consumer technology and explains ways to use AI in everyday life. After earning an electrical engineering degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, he began as a ComEd Associate Engineer in 2015; he pursued an MBA at Kellogg in 2020 and became a semi-finalist at the 2021 Pulse Conference's Paramount+ Case Competition.     He earns a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before beginning his career as an Associate Engineer in ComEd's Smart Grid & Technology group in 2015.     In December 2022, he coauthors a guide with Robert Northard and Elamaran Shanmugam to blue/green Kubernetes upgrades for Amazon EKS Anywhere using Flux.

    Amazon Linux 2023 on EKS

    In April 2024, he announces general availability of Amazon Linux 2023 (AL2023) on Amazon EKS. The standard EKS-optimized AMI improves application security and performance.

    Edelman's AI creator list

    In January 2025, Edelman includes him in its AI Creators You Need to Know list. His TailorMadeTech content explains how AI can be integrated into everyday life and makes complex topics understandable to a broad audience.

    He launches TailorMadeTech in 2016 as a channel for technology tips and gadgets. As of October 2026, he is a Senior Product Manager on AWS’s Elastic Kubernetes Service team and the creator behind the channel on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram Reels, with more than 276,000 followers and 180 million views.
