Also known as Marcelo Amorim Menegali

Marcelo Menegali is an AI researcher whose published work spans dialog models and mathematical reasoning. He coauthored Google's LaMDA paper in 2022 and contributed to AlphaGeometry 2, part of the system that reached silver-medal standard at the 2024 IMO. His February 2025 AlphaGeometry 2 paper reported that the system surpassed an average gold medalist in Olympiad geometry. In 2025, he contributed to Gemini Deep Think work for both the IMO and ICPC; the systems solved five of six and 10 of 12 problems respectively at gold-medal level. A Google patent application published in May 2025 listed him as an inventor on multimodal-response methods, and in July 2026 he hosted EAGLE BS visitors at Google's San Francisco office.
