Jianbing Shen
Also known as Jian-Bing Shen, Jian-bing Shen
Jianbing Shen is a computer-vision researcher whose work spans interactive texture design, salient-object detection, human-aware image deblurring and autonomous-driving simulation. After coauthoring interactive texture design work in July 2007, he coauthored the Attentive Saliency Network in 2018 and the HIDE motion-deblurring dataset in 2019. He served as a full professor at Beijing Institute of Technology in 2021, joined the University of Macau's State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City as a professor by October 2022, became an IEEE Fellow in 2024, and coauthored DrivingSphere while serving as program chair for the Macao Symposium on Cloud Computing and Intelligent Driving in December 2025. As of October 2026, he is Head of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and a professor in the University of Macau's Department of Computer and Information Science, with research interests that include computer vision, self-driving cars, medical AI and deep learning.
