Hanna Moazam
Hanna Moazam is an AI builder whose work helps developers program language-model pipelines with DSPy. She studied computer science at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, served as a teaching assistant for a deep-learning course, and coauthored the 2023 paper that introduced DSPy. In 2024, DSPy reached ICLR, and she owns a Databricks cookbook for DSPy applications created in May 2025. As of October 2026, she is a Senior Solutions Architect at Databricks in London, specializing in data science, machine learning, governance and GenAI.
Timeline
-
2016–2020
Computer science at CMU-Q
At a CMU-Q event for admitted students in April 2016, she changes her major from information systems to computer science. She graduates with a computer science degree in 2020, leads Project Rwanda and serves as a student leader for Computing Club, Andrew Model United Nations and women’s basketball.
-
2019
Teaching deep learning
In Fall 2019, she serves as a teaching assistant for Carnegie Mellon’s 11-785 Introduction to Deep Learning course. The class covers deep neural networks and their applications to AI tasks.
-
2023
The DSPy paper
In 2023, she coauthors DSPy: Compiling Declarative Language Model Calls into Self-Improving Pipelines, which introduces a programming model for composing language-model pipelines through declarative modules.
-
2024
DSPy at ICLR 2024
In 2024, DSPy appears at ICLR with Moazam among the project’s contributors.
-
May 2025
A Databricks DSPy cookbook
Her Databricks DSPy cookbook is created in May 2025 and provides a starting template for applications using vector search, MLflow, Databricks Agent Framework and Mosaic Agent Eval.
-
As of October 2026
Senior Solutions Architect
As of October 2026, she is a Senior Solutions Architect at Databricks in London, specializing in data science and machine learning and developing open source solutions for governance and GenAI.
