Grant Harvey

Grant Harvey is the lead writer of The Neuron, a daily AI newsletter with more than 700,000 readers, and co-hosts its podcast, The Neuron: AI Explained, with Corey Noles. After studying screenwriting in college, he worked in content marketing, PR and advertising and wrote a newsletter on emerging trends at You Exec; by August 2024, he was writing issues of The Neuron. TechnologyAdvice acquired the newsletter in January 2025, and after co-founder Noah Edelman's departure, he became its primary writer. By March 2025, he had graduated from the first cohort of MIT xPRO's Driving Innovation with Generative AI course, which inspired him to create an AI task-prioritization tool called The Decider. On the podcast, which he and Noles introduced in June 2025, guests have included Logan Kilpatrick, Illia Polosukhin and Mammoth Biosciences CEO Trevor Martin.

    TechnologyAdvice acquires The Neuron in January 2025, after the newsletter builds more than 500,000 subscribers. After co-founder Noah Edelman's departure, he leads the newsletter as its primary writer.

    MIT xPRO and The Decider

    By March 2025, he graduates from the first cohort of MIT xPRO's Driving Innovation with Generative AI course. The course inspires him to create The Decider, an AI tool that prioritizes tasks by ranking goals, asking targeted questions and applying importance weights.

  4. June 2025

    Co-hosting The Neuron podcast

    In June 2025, he and Corey Noles introduce The Neuron podcast with the episode "Microsoft Shares Its Playbook for Surviving the AI Jobquake," which looks at AI's impact on jobs.

    Logan Kilpatrick on AI Studio

    In August 2025, he and Noles interview Logan Kilpatrick, lead product manager at Google DeepMind, about Google AI Studio and the Gemini API.

  6. September 2025

    Interviewing Illia Polosukhin

    In September 2025, they interview Illia Polosukhin, co-author of the "Attention is All You Need" paper, about the evolution and future of AI.

  7. 2026

    DevDay and a CRISPR interview

    In 2026, he and Noles host a live watch party for OpenAI DevDay 2026. In October 2026, they talk with Mammoth Biosciences co-founder and CEO Trevor Martin about how CRISPR is moving from a laboratory tool toward one-time medicines.
