Biqing Huang

Also known as 黄必清

Biqing Huang is a Tsinghua University researcher whose AI work spans industrial systems, cloud manufacturing and medical research. He earned degrees in computer science and engineering at Dalian University of Technology in 1988, mechanical manufacturing at Wuhan University of Technology in 1990, and computer science and technology at Tsinghua in 1994. His work includes cloud manufacturing service prediction, convolutional networks for pneumoconiosis detection and a vision-based method for stacked-goods detection; he received an IBM Faculty Award in 2008. As of October 2026, he is a professor and PhD advisor in Tsinghua's Department of Automation, where his research includes industrial vision, equipment diagnosis, cloud-edge collaboration and artificial intelligence in medical research.

    In 2025, he coauthors “A Vision-Based Method for Detecting the Position of Stacked Goods in Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems.”
