Xiaojun Wu
Also known as Xiao-Jun Wu, Wu Xiaojun, 吴小俊
Xiaojun Wu is a professor of pattern recognition at Jiangnan University and dean of its Graduate School. He earned a B.S. in mathematics at Nanjing Normal University in 1991 and a Ph.D. in pattern recognition and intelligent system at Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2002. From 2003 to 2004 he held a visiting postdoctoral post under Josef Kittler at the University of Surrey, and in 2012 he coauthored a convergence analysis of quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization. With Hui Li, he presented DenseFuse in 2018, a deep architecture for fusing infrared and visible images. In 2022 the International Association for Pattern Recognition named him a fellow for image and video representation, image and multimodal fusion, and particle swarm optimization.
