Anna Ridler
Anna Ridler is a London-based artist and writer who uses machine learning to examine how naming, classification, and financial speculation shape what people see. She studied English literature at Oxford and information experience design at the Royal College of Art, then built a hand-labeled tulip dataset behind Mosaic Virus, an AI-generated video tied to Bitcoin prices. She received the DARE Art Prize and coauthored a 2023 paper on public AI literacy through art. In 2025, she shared the ABS Digital Artist of the Year award with Sofia Crespo and exhibited Time Blooms in Seoul. Her 2026 exhibition A Perfect Language of Images was shown in Oxford.
