Siddhartha Srinivasa
Also known as Sidd, S S Srinivasa, S. S. Srinivasa, S. Srinivasa, S.S. Srinivasa, Siddhartha S Srinivasa, Sidd Srinivasa
Siddhartha Srinivasa is a roboticist whose work combines machine learning, manipulation, and human-robot interaction for tasks under clutter and uncertainty. He earned a B.Tech in mechanical engineering at IIT Madras and a robotics PhD at Carnegie Mellon, then founded the Personal Robotics Lab and built systems such as HERB, ADA, and CHIMP. He co-founded Berkshire Grey, led Amazon's robotics and AI efforts in fulfillment, and developed AI algorithms for Cruise's driverless cars. He is a professor at the University of Washington and a Venture Partner at Madrona; he became an IEEE Fellow in 2018.
