Ren Chen

Ren Chen is a banker whose AI career includes business leadership at Reka and authorship on a report about its multimodal models. By 2009, he worked in Hong Kong at Nomura, then spent 14 years at Morgan Stanley across Hong Kong and New York, rising to global head of Internet investment banking before leaving in 2023. At Reka, he served ten months as CFO and CBO, and his name appeared among the authors of its April 2024 technical report, Reka Core, Flash, and Edge. He later served as WeRide's chief strategy officer. Since September 2026, he is Deutsche Bank's New York managing director and global head of enterprise and AI banking.
