André Martins researches natural language processing and multilingual language models. He co-founded the Lisbon Machine Learning School in 2011 and completed a dual doctorate in Language Technologies in 2012. He received ERC grants for DeepSPIN and DECOLLAGE and contributed to AMALIA, Tower-v3, and EuroLLM-22B.
