Veronyka Gimenes

Veronyka Gimenes is a Brazilian builder of AI tools against online hate. In 2025 she and Amanda Claro launched TybyrIA, an open AI model built to identify anti-LGBTQIA+ hate. The association she co-founded also brought a public civil action against Meta, Google, X, and ByteDance. TIME named her to its 2026 TIME100 AI list, the only Brazilian on it. As of October 2026, she is co-founder and director of Código Não Binário and teaches the association's AI course.
