Stephen H. Muggleton
Stephen H. Muggleton held a Royal Academy of Engineering/Microsoft Research chair during 2001–2012 and a Syngenta research chair at Imperial from October 2013. His research includes inductive logic programming, machine learning in molecular biology, adaptive agents and natural language learning. A 2013–2018 project studied automated theory formation using meta-interpretive learning. He worked on a semi-autonomous robot synthetic biology project from 2018 to 2022 and co-led a Human-Like Computing network with Nick Chater from 2018 to 2023.
