Researcher

Stefan Bauer

Bauer coauthored a PNAS study with Niklas Pfister and Jonas Peters on identifying causal structure in large-scale kinetic systems. He also coauthored Robot Cluster in the Cloud in the NeurIPS Competition Track. It concerns reproducible research in dexterous manipulation with a common robot platform. He and his collaborators presented Interventions, Where and How at NeurIPS 2022. Bauer and collaborators study experimental design for causal models at scale, part of a program on adaptable and explanatory learning systems.
