Reinhard Koch
Reinhard Koch's research turns camera images into 3D scene models and covers underwater imaging. He studied electrical engineering and physical science at Hannover and then worked there as a research assistant. A self-calibration paper written with Marc Pollefeys and Luc Van Gool received an ICCV Marr Prize in 1998. He became a full professor at CAU Kiel in 1999, and the IAPR named him a fellow in 2022. As of October 2026, he leads the multimedia information processing group at CAU Kiel.
