Rémi Flamary
Also known as Remi Flamary
Rémi Flamary works on optimal transport and machine learning. His research links mathematical matching methods to graph learning, domain adaptation and scientific applications. Flamary is an applied-mathematics professor at École Polytechnique. He previously worked at Université Côte d’Azur and studied for his doctorate with Alain Rakotomamonjy at Rouen. His research interests include optimal transport on graphs, domain adaptation, transfer learning and optimization. His work has applications in remote sensing, biomedical engineering and astronomical images. Flamary coauthored Unbalanced Learning of Optimal Transport with Sonia Mazelet and Bertrand Thirion. The method learns transport plans between graphs and can provide starting points for more expensive classical solvers.
