Károly Zsolnai-Fehér
Also known as Two Minute Papers
Károly Zsolnai-Fehér is an independent scientist and the creator of Two Minute Papers. He studied computer engineering in Budapest, worked on reinforcement learning and fluid simulation, and completed doctoral study at TU Wien from 2013 to 2020. He also interned at Disney Research Zürich in 2013. Two Minute Papers began in 2015 as a way to share research with a wider audience. His own graphics work includes Gaussian Material Synthesis, with Peter Wonka and Michael Wimmer, and Photorealistic Material Editing. A 2022 Nature Physics commentary explored simulation and reality. His public work uses visual explanations to introduce advances in AI, rendering and scientific computing.
