Chloe Rolland

Chloe Rolland is an AI researcher whose computer vision work includes Segment Anything, the FACET fairness benchmark and SAM 2. She earned an M.S. in computer science and a Ph.D. in networks and performance analysis at Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie, held research and innovation roles in France and Chile, and joined Meta in 2021. Segment Anything offers promptable image segmentation that transfers zero-shot to new image distributions, while FACET provides a 32,000-image set for fairness evaluation. Segment Anything received ICCV's 2023 Best Paper Honorable Mention, and SAM 2 received ICLR's 2025 Outstanding Paper Honorable Mention; as of October 2026, she is Meta's Program Management Lead, AI.
