Wangmeng Zuo
Also known as 左旺孟
Wangmeng Zuo is a professor in the Faculty of Computing at Harbin Institute of Technology, working on image denoising, image restoration, and convolutional neural networks. Born in 1977, he earned a bachelor's degree in the Department of Materials Science at Harbin Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1999, a master's degree in materials science from 1999 to 2001, and a Ph.D. in computer application technology from 2001 to 2007. He lectured there from August 2007 to October 2010, became an associate professor in October 2010, and became a professor in December 2015. In 2012 the Ministry of Education named him a New Century Excellent Talent. With coauthors he published weighted nuclear norm minimization at CVPR in 2014, DnCNN in 2016, FFDNet in 2017, and ECA-Net at CVPR in 2020.
