Researcher

Sriraam Natarajan

Sriraam Natarajan studies AI, graphical models and relational learning. His research includes predictive models for clinical events and decision support. Natarajan earned a master’s degree at Oregon State in 2004 and a doctorate in 2007 under Prasad Tadepalli. His doctoral work studied decision-theoretic assistance through relational hierarchical models. He completed a postdoctoral research appointment in Wisconsin’s biostatistics and medical-informatics department from January 2008 to November 2010. He later served on the faculties of Wake Forest and Indiana. He was an associate professor at UT Dallas from June 2017 to August 2020 and a full professor from September 2020. He also directed the Center of Machine Learning from September 2018.
