Rui Men
Rui Men is a researcher on Alibaba Group's Qwen Team and is affiliated with Peking University. His work spans vision-language pretraining and large language models. In 2022 he co-authored OFA, a sequence-to-sequence learning framework, and Chinese CLIP, a contrastive vision-language pretraining model in Chinese. He helped develop the Qwen2.5-Coder series, whose technical report appeared on arXiv in September 2024. A gated-attention paper for large language models, which he co-authored, won a NeurIPS 2025 best paper award.
