Ronald R. Yager
Ronald Yager is a researcher in fuzzy logic, and the IEEE named him a Fellow in 1997. In 1988 he wrote a paper on ordered weighted averaging operators for multicriteria decision making. With Janusz Kacprzyk, he co-edited The Ordered Weighted Averaging Operators in 1997. He received the IEEE Frank Rosenblatt Award in 2016, and the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society gave him its Zadeh Pioneer Award in 2018. As of October 2026, he is listed among the emeriti faculty at Iona University.
