Raul Puri
Raul Puri is a research scientist at OpenAI whose work spans language models and multimodal AI. He studied at UC Berkeley as an undergraduate researcher and earned an electrical engineering and computer science degree focused on biomedical engineering. His early papers explored zero-shot classification, synthetic question answering, and controllable dialogue. At OpenAI, he co-led GPT-4 vision engineering and coauthored the GPT-4o System Card. An OpenAI language-model text-editing patent application named him as an inventor.
