Pontus Stenetorp
Pontus Stenetorp studies how computers process human language and how researchers can measure their limits. He coauthored the 2012 paper introducing brat, a web-based tool for NLP-assisted text annotation. He is a professor of natural-language processing at UCL and a professor in the National Institute of Informatics’ centre for large language models in Japan. His empirical research asks how language-processing abilities can improve and how their limitations can be measured.
