Paul Jacob co-authored a series of model papers, beginning with Pixtral 12B in October 2024. He co-authored Magistral, Mistral's first reasoning model, in June 2025, and the Devstral technical report in August 2025. Later papers covered Voxtral audio and speech models and Ministral 3 language models. The most recent were Robostral Navigate, an 8B model for robot navigation, and Shieldstral, a 3B safety classifier, both from July 2026.

  6. February–March 2026

    Voxtral Realtime and TTS

    He co-authors Voxtral Realtime, a streaming speech-recognition model, in February 2026, and Voxtral TTS, a multilingual text-to-speech model, in March 2026.

  7. July 2026

    Robostral Navigate model

    He co-authors Robostral Navigate, an 8B vision-language model for robot navigation, in July 2026.
