Paola Ricaurte Quijano is a researcher whose AI work draws on decolonial and feminist thinking. In 2019 she published an article on data epistemologies and the coloniality of power. In 2020 she helped convene a collective that authored the AI Decolonial Manyfesto, and she co-founded Tierra Común with Ulises Mejias and Nick Couldry. TIME included her in its 2025 TIME100 AI list.
